I'm a very social person. I enjoy helping and being there for others. I'm caring and take my job seriously when it comes to my clients whether it be the family or the client themselves. I enjoy the outdoors and going for walks and of course listening to my clients talk about what they like. I also enjoy engaging with my clients in games for cognition. I've worked with clients who have Alzheimer's and/or Dementia for over 14 years as a Memory Care Director and caregiver and have enjoyed every moment. I chose to be a caregiver because I wanted to have that one to one time with a client. I've met some wonderful families and clients over the years and enjoy seeing the smiles on their faces when they see their loved ones enjoying life again. The one achievement I am proud of is when I took the first step into becoming a Memory Care Director/Caregiver. My life has only been blessed because of the choice I made.

I have been a caregiver for 28 years. I have worked in nursing homes, assisted living, hospitals and in private homes. I love my job. I enjoy knowing that my care and love has helped people and saved people. It is very self satisfying to see someone light up and smile when I come in their room or their homes. I have been told I have a huge heart and I am a very caring and loving person and my experience is very helpful. It fills my heart with joy to know I make a difference in that persons life.

What first attracted me to being a caregiver was the fact that my mamaw has done this kind of work her whole life so when I turned 18 I got a job in an assisted living facility and have done home health care off and on ever since. I love being able to know I can help someone on a personal level. It takes a special person to do this kind of work.

I am an outgoing and friendly person. I have great communication skills. I love the one on one contact and relationship that I have with my clients in their homes. My mother was a caregiver so I decided to follow in her footsteps. I have 18 years of home health and 11 years of hospice care experience. I genuinely love working with all individuals needing support or care. My friends refer to me as "the mom" of the group. I do not have children but have a background in childcare throughout college. I spent a lot of time helping my grandmother growing up and until she passed. My suffered from multiple heart attacks, low blood pressure, cancer, and more. I have a very positive personality. I am soft when needing to be soft and I am enthusiastic when I need to be more alive. I am wonderful at keeping everything organized and attended to. I have a culinary background and I LOVE to cook and bake. My friends and family often brag about my menu's. I have trainings that certify me to cook and respect food allergies or restrictions. I am so attracted to helping care for another because I feel as if I can really help in the world. My favorite part of being a caretaker is to having the option to learn about another human being. My biggest person achievement would have to be working a Recovery Program. I grew up with a lot of trauma surrounding me. This disadvantage taught me a lot of sensitivity and love. I feel confident to care for others with a compassionate and professional manor.

I love people, I have enjoyed taking care of people ever since I was Young. I love companionship and conversing with elderly people. I love working with people of all ages! My biggest achievement that I am proud of is my family!

I love being in this type of work. I enjoy a more one on one relationship I get to build with clients in the homecare environment. I have experience with many different fields as a caregiver.
