I currently work as a in-home care provider in penfield ny, taking care of an elderly woman who has COPD. But I live in Hamlin ny, distance is no problem, Ive worked on multiple cases with individuals/family's that suffer from Parkinson's disease, heart failure, Alzheimer's, dementia, developmental disabilities etc. Along with my care I can provide organization (meal preparation, medication log, light housekeeping) grocery shopping/errands, bathing/clothing, changing catheters & depends, I also have reliable transportation and references. I knew I wanted to pursue a career in health care my senior year in high school when I volunteered as a classroom aide everyday after school 11am-2 p.m. working with children who had developmental disabilities. I've participated in the Special Olympics and also lots of separate field trips/ activity

I have been doing hair for almost 40 years. My duties always went beyond doing hair. I also started just caring for my elderly clientele,shopping, companionship and help with showering. I love people! I work at assisted living nursing home. I do hair there but would love to help as a aide as well. My level of experience is hands on, Life and personal experience. I have a gregarious personality. I currently have 3 private duty jobs as a companion,aide showering and light cleaning. I would like one closer to my home.
