My name is Michelle. I have enjoyed the last two years of training and caregiving experience with the elderly. I have worked specifically in an assisted living environment, where I managed the home with 5 care residents per one caregiver. Additionally, I have worked in homes with 10 residents per two caregivers. In each home, I have been able to individualize the care to each person, as their needs may be. I have experience in crisis' management, fall risk, dementia (Alzheimer's) care, and much more. My responsibilities including keeping relations with families/nurses/care team members, cooking and serving meals, pristine cleaning of homes, showering/toileting and assistance with all Activities of Daily Living.

I am a person who is attention to detail and who likes to be thorough in my caregiving. My goal is to help people to become healthier and more independent. I feel I was born to be a caregiver. I genuinely care for people. I also will care for your pets too. I will do laundry, prepare meals, medication reminders, showering and help with getting dressed. I will run errands and go for fun outings. I have worked in this field for 30 years and will continue for many years to come. I am available to work full or part time.

I have been a caregiver to children for over 15 years. I recently obtained my nursing assistant certification, and have had experience working in a prestigious, skilled nursing facility. My passion is to care for people, specifically the senior citizen generation. I have been fortunate enough to have my grandparents in my life at an adult age, and I believe in the importance of proper care at any age. I will care and treat each individual as a family member.

I am a patience, reliable, hard work person, I have four years of experience working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) is someone who works directly with people who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. DSPs aim to assist people in realizing their full potential. DSP work can include assistance with education, home care, basic health and hygiene, transportation, housing, family services, vocational training, rehabilitation, or simply helping people integrate into their local community.

I am a retired Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience taking care of elderly patients in the nursing home and hospital setting. I became a nurse because when I was young, my grandmother was very ill. I helped her with cooking, cleaning and activities of daily living; including shopping. I enjoyed helping and being depended upon. She always said I would make a great nurse and I believed her. I am a great caregiver because I love what I do and am passionate about quality of life for all. I have a sister with Down's syndrome and I helped take care of her and teach her many life skills. My parents are elderly now and I live out of state, but I keep very abreast of their care and daily living through daily phone calls and follow-up calls to doctors and social workers, etc. I have always taken care of my family, I became a nurse at 33 years old; when my last child went to school. I am very proud of that. I recently, in 2008, sustained a concussion which lead into post-concussive syndrome. I have come a very long way from where I was then, and even though, I cannot return to nursing as a career, my passion for taking care of the senior population has not waned one bit. It was my life's dream and I want to still be able to make a difference in people's lives.

I am an experienced PCA.I have been a PCA since 2007. I have worked in both homecare settings and in facilities. I am very flexible as far as schedule needs and the needs of the client. I also have many years of Alzheimer's care experience. I am currently attending school to become an LPN.

My family took care of the elderly when I was younger watching them made me feel happy to see them smile I have always wanted to be a nurse I am currently a cna I did the training I absolutely love the elderly I love listening and watching them grow I would not want to be anywhere else in life except with them that was my greatest accomplishment was becoming a cna!!
