I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years and enjoy caring for others and improving their quality of life. I am a Respiratory Therapist and have an Associates degree as a Medical Office Assistant. I also am a volunteer time with my local Volunteer Fire Department as the President, Captain of the K9 Search and Rescue Team as well as a K9 Handler and an EMT. I became interested in being a caregiver when I was a teenager when I took care of my Grandmother and saw the challenges she endured in her life as she aged. I also have a diploma in Canine Obedience trainer and Veterinary Assistance. I feel my greatest achievement is nationally certifying 2 different K9s at 3 levels of trailing to help locate lost and missing people.

I look at each person as if they were my own parents. I put my heart into everything I do and enjoy each day that I'm given, to spread joy and happiness to every person I meet. 8 years as a caregiver

My patience to help people and also my compassion to be there for someone that need the extra help. I am my dependability and trustworthiness. Sometimes all it takes is someone to be there and understand what someone is going through and being able to put there trust into them. What attracted me the most about being an caregiver is that doing this kind of work has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. What I enjoy the most about being an caregiver is creating an bond with the individual. It's so amazing to grow and bond with someone that you know needs you some individuals don't always have family members so you become their family members. One of my personal achievements I am very proud of is I passed my CNA class test but was unable to take my test due to COVID-19. But I am still very grateful for being able to push myself and show that I could do the work. And one day be able to go to college and receive my lpn.

All I've ever wanted to do in life is help people. I became a CNA, and haven't wanted to do anything else since. I enjoy taking care of people, and I've found to be most at home in assisting the elderly. I enjoy working with the people I care for, and making them laugh and smile. I am most proud of all those laughs they've given!

I feel that I am a great caregiver because unfortunately I am unable to have children so my maternal instincts carry over to the person I am caring for. I love helping people and being able to help someone stay home for as long as possible is very important.
