Hello, I'm Jessica. I'm a caregiver (TNA from ACAHNCAL) currently working on my CNA Certification. I answered the call and became a professional caregiver during the quarantine. I had been a family caregiver to two members previously and all together, I have 10 years experience. Ive been told I have a servants heart and find I am happiest when making others satisfied. Having spent decades of my life caring for my elderly patients and I love every minute of it, Such an honor for me ! Being a trusted caregiver for many years with patients from all walks of life in various stages in life; sometimes with physical/mental decline I offer care that you can trust. I have great compassion for others in some of the most vulnerable times of their lives when sometimes other family members cannot due to their own family and lives. It make me feel good to know that I can take a load off of family members while relieving stress and pressure because we know that caring for a family member is exhausting, I've been there and know. I take no shortcuts in the care of my patients always treating others as I would like to be treated and for me that's as if they were my family.

I love taking care of people, providing them with better life choices because I'm there to care for them when other times they may be afraid to step too far out of their home, for fear they won't make it back inside or fear of the world and people in it. I want to be there to give them that security blanket and secure them in their daily activities because I know they like to gain that self independence and do things more independently without having to sit around and not get what they wanted done. It helps to promote longer health and happiness from within. Something that so many take for granted. I love caring for the elderly and those that are less fortunate.

I retired in 2014. I loved my job and my patients, but the drive to and from Nashville became so time consuming on top of a 10 hour day. I volunteer at the hospital because I really enjoy helping patients and missed being in the medical field. I received an award at my job for being an outstanding caregiver.
