My name is Whitney,I have been a caregiver for over 20 years. I have a friendly, caring personality,also outgoing. I have a lot of experience from dementia, tracheostomy, catheter (male and female), diabetic, amputee,transfer,full transfers,and partial assist,hoyer life, sliding board, bathing,and home making just to name a few things so you can have an idea of some of things I have a experience in,but I assure you I did not name all of them. I've always wanted to be able to help people who needed assistance,and that just wanted some company. Being a caregiver is an amazing job, it's the one on one that you get with the clients, being one on one,helps you to actually get to know your clients. I am in school now to become an Registered Nurse,that is something that I've always wanted to do since I was a little girl.

What had brought me into like being a caregiver was my grandpa. He has dementia and needs lots of help, so helping him out and talking to him and doing things with him has been amazing and is what I wanted to do. My personal achievement I am proud of is finishing graduate school with a master's degree in psychology that I can use to help others.

I am a 41 year old Happy Mother of a sweet 20 year old Wonderful son. Most of my adult life ive just been a mother and all my choices were about my son, now is time for me. I love camping and living a simple life, and i love my animals. I have been a caregiver in one form or another most of my life because I love to help people.
