I love being able to help people and take care of them. My grandmother was my best friend but she recently passed away and since then Iv felt drawn to being a caregiver and helping others and just giving them someone to talk to. I have 2 beautiful children who are my life and I want a job I'm able to be on their schedule also. I recently finished medical assistant school which was a big accomplishment for me to go back to school at my age. Over all I'm a very happy, loving person who loves to see other smile.

I have been licensed as a vocational Nurse in the past but no longer keep a license due to medical reasons being unable to respond quickly enough in emergencies. I had a client a few years ago that had been unable to leave her home due to the fact that she didn't have a wheelchair ramp attached to her home. She was unable to go down her front steps for about 3 years due to her arthritis in her legs. Thru lots of research, I was finally able to find a traveling church group that would donate their time helping clients in need by building them home improvements to help them. I was able to get up with them to have them come to her home and build her a wheelchair ramp. I was so happy for her, that we both cried. That was one of my best days on the job!
