I'm a very easy going person, I've been a CNA over 20 plus years. I treat my clients as though we're family or the way I want my mother to be treated. What attracted my to caregiving, was having compassion for others. I most enjoy about caregiving is getting to know my clients and/or their family. My personal achievement is loving the care I give and knowing I'm doing my best.

I love being around people, I am elder in my siblings, it has very positive effect on my calm and patient personality. I was a C.N.A for 25 years, in home caregiver for 5 years plus. In my opinion I am one of the best caregivers. I am patient, have compassion, honest and work really hard at making my client happy and healthy as possible. I have never had a complaint from a client or their families. While working in nursing homes never a complaint from the nursing staff. I have a big heart and believe our elderly need to be loved and taken care of. I am Joshlyn. I have been a private caretaker for several years. I have assisted patients with all aspects of daily care, including dressing/undressing, checking vital signs, bathing, personal hygiene, transferring to and from bed, skin care and various other duties. I have administered oral and IV medication as prescribed by an attending physician on a daily basis. I have maintained records of patient care, condition, progress, and problems, in order to report and discuss observations with family members and physicians. I accompany clients to doctors' offices and on other trips outside the home, providing transportation, assistance and companionship. I maintained sterile fields, application of dressings to a stage 4 decubitus ulcer. I assisted patients with basic activities of daily living, including changing of bed linens, washing laundry, preparing nutritious meals and doing basic housekeeping. I have always been a people person and enjoyed helping others. It wasn't tell after my mother became ill and I was caring for her.
