I have always been a caregiver, personally caring for my father and grandmother, and professionally in a variety of settings from little children to aging adults in their homes. I have been a C.N.A. for now 2 years. I love what I do. My great grandma is who inspired me to be who I am today i took care of my great grandma for 5years she passed away 2years ago that's when I decided to do something i enjoyed doing. I wish I would have done the schooling when she was alive so I could have took better care of her i had no idea how to take care of prevent bed sores. No knowledge at all on bed sores.. But I did i know she would be proud of me. I treat my patients as if I'm taking care of my mom or grandma. I treat others how I want to be treated. I am good at what I do i do not mind working weekends or nights i am up for any shift. I work hard and always on time.

I love interacting with my clients... I'm big on conversations so it'll never be a dull moment in our day. I will be a listening ear to my clients and always reassure them that I'm here for them. I've been attracted to caregiving ever since my grandmother passed 6 years ago. My grandmother was very sick and had to get a colostomy bag which eventually made her sepsis and she passed. Seeing her like that I automatically developed this caring heart for my elders. They took care of us when we couldn't take care of ourselves and as they get older they need that same love and effort in return. I'm here to let my elders know that I'm here to assist them in life and keep that joy and spark within them. I automatically have that nurturing heart. I'm a mother of 4 so that loving and taking care of someone just comes naturally. The part I enjoy the most about caregiving is talking to my clients hearing the stories about them in their younger days and hearing them talk about they family. I'm all about family and conversations like that just keep me so hopeful. I'm proud of the woman and mother I've become. I'm so loving and all about how I can make someone else life better. I just love loving on people and having that same love in return. World is so much better when you have people helping each other and loving on each other.

Hello, My name is Danielle. I've been a caregiver for 11 years and I absolutely love it. I got into the healthcare field due to my father having early onset Alzheimer's. I love the healthcare field and it has been my passion ever since. It's a career I am very proud of and take pride in.

I have been a care giver on and off since my senior year in high school which totals 34 years. I love being a caregiver and the rewarding benefit of seeing the individuals improve. I am very compassionate and treat everyone like my family. I became a caregiver because of the rewarding feel I get from it. I remember working in a nursing facility and the other attendants couldn't get a gentlemen to eat on his own and before I left i had him eating on his own which made me so happy because he was literally on the verge of getting a feeding tube.
