I'm a mother of two and a daughter. My mom lives with me. I'm a military spouse. I'm very compassionate, understanding and have big heart for elderly. I grew up with my grandparents since my father passed before I knew him. And my grandparents passed before I can give them the care they need. For that reason alone give me motivation to give the love for my grandparents that they never had from me to passed it on to other elderly people. I always treat them as my own grandparents. I have my CPR and BLS. I have food handling permit. I have my NAR and working to my CNA next month. Taking some of my pre-requisite to my Nursing degree.

Iam a CNA since 2003 and l have been practicing up to date. I have in different health care settings including, hospitals, nursing homes , group homes, shelters, institutions, jails and home health care. During that time while working in those different settings, l have gained tremendous experiences working with different kinds of people of different nationality, cultural beliefs, ages, people of different backgrounds and ,language barriers. I am a licensed CNA with over 15 year's experience as both an hourly and an in-home 24 hour caregiver. I have many year's experience in other related healthcare fields as well and am also a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I have Nurse Delegation certification, BLS/HCP CPR and First Aid cards, as well as Mental Health certification. The last 2 1/2 years I've worked with predominantly one client providing care for all the activities of daily living (including transportation) and companionship as well as acting as a healthcare advocate. I have always had the passion to improve the quality of life for others around me and to give them the one on one attention. Making a difference in a positive way makes me feel good, when I was in high school my grandmother had a stroke and my mother and I took care of her, that is what made me feel so driven to care for others.. , Caring is a calling and I just love to see a smile in our loved once and bring comfort to their families.
