Hi, I have worked previously as a special Education Teacher. I love helping people and increasing their ability to be self sufficient. I enjoy the relationships I form with people while trying to help them. Helping people gives me purpose and helps them succeed.

I am looking for a full time long term live-in position. I am drug free, only drink socially and do NOT do drugs. I will relocate myself upon hire. Here's my short list: I am a 62 year old semi-retired Respiratory Therapist. I have my own vehicles. I am very organized and have lots of experience caring for people. Excellent cook, housekeeper and home organizer. I currently cook, clean and do laundry for my client in addition to his personal care and companionship. My current position is live-in with room and board and $525 per week salary. I work for myself on a cash basis. I lately worked as a live-in caregiver for an 88 year old who recently went into hospice care and has passed away, I currently work as a live-in Resident Assistant at an Adult Family Group Home for developmentally disabled. Prior to that, I was a personal assistant/housekeeper/cook for Racine's Case High School Principal (Wisconsin), until he moved to CA for health issues. Prior to that I was live-in Housekeeper/cook for a professional gay couple in Trevor, WI. I have tons of experience with children, and have a 35 year medical background. Also interested in positions in Ashland County, OH 44805 area and will re-locate for the right position. Please be aware of State Laws regarding live-in domestic care givers hours for work. There are time off requirements. 24 hours a day 7 days per week is not an expectation you should have. It's demanding work and all caregivers need time to recharge. I'm Celia and I have been serving others my entire life in my occupational fields of HR, education and now nursing as well as in my community as a Girl Scout leader, religious education teacher and moms/tots founder and organizer. I was a leader for an SOS trip to Memphis TN in Orange Mound to build roofs and create gardens for the well deserved residents in that neighborhood. I have raised 4 children who are all currently in college in the areas of Marine Biology, Nursing, Computer Science and Construction Management. I am resilient, outgoing, dependable, caring and compassionate. I enjoy serving others and helping them to be their very BEST version of theirselves no matter what biological age or journey they are currently on. Hi my name is Marissa, I started caregiving after I graduated highschool. I was very close with my grandma. She was my world. She passed away in 2009, and I honestly did it there on out. Elderly are super important to me and need to be loved. I love knowing I can help a family in need when I know how tough it is to care for a parent or family member when you have your own life to live as well, I enjoy it and it could be a good career. It's rough sometimes, and I miss who I've cared for but it is the circle of life. Dementia Alzheimers med giving Bed bound patients Bed baths med giving feeding. Gtube feeding switching out bags and adminstiring pills through gtube. Companionship weekly I'd buy lunch and we'd play games puzzles etc walks outside or simply staying in watching the news. I have given insulin for diabetics also checking blood sugar catheter changes and new ones! I am very qualifed for many positions. I was also a personal assistant as well, computer work, errands, work emails business calls.

I am a very caring, patient, and responsible caregiver. One of my biggest passions is helping others. From the time I started working as a CNA to now I have loved every part of it. This type of work is so rewarding. Getting to know the residents and learning more about them is one of the best parts of this job.
