I have good personality traits when it comes to taking care of the elderly. I can be very patient and concerned. The one thing that attracted me to being a caregiver are when I had to be my mom's caregiver for a year at my place. I bathed her every morning, shampooed her hair, clipped her toenails, file them, dressed her, shaved her chin wild hairs. I prepared dinner, breakfast, she fed herself, she even take her medicine each day. Prepare her medicine tray for 30 days, take a prescription to the pharmacy for refills each month, grocery shop, run errands, take her to the doctor as needed, read her mail, make calls as needed.

I personally feel that because of the type of care my biological grandmother and adoptive mother provided to me from their own angle, is what attracted me to being an individual that is able to help others in ways that they can't...in a healthcare way.
