I've worked with people's who have dementia, bed ridden, legally blind, cancer, and alzheimers, dialysis, Diabetic, kidney disease, and heart problems. I've helped them with cooking, bath, lifting, dressings, shopping, tidying up, laundry, walking, excercises, and taking them to appointments. I treats all my clients with respect., and love. What makes me a great caregiver cuz I'm a people person and I have compassion and I care about how the how they feel. Well I love most about being a caregiver is that I can help and show that I care and that I'm a living person and I give joy and laughter and comfort out of helping others. My mom was a CNA for 40 years before she passed away and I've been volunteering since I was 12 years old so that's what motivates me to be a caregiver. I'm proud of being a mother I'm proud of being a grandmother I'm proud of just being a person as in the community I'm proud of myself of learning going back to school getting my caregiver certificates and getting all my certificates that I have in ADLs patient care helper I'm just proud of me being a person who I am I'm proud like I said being a mother and a grandmother of course and a wife and I'm proud that I took care of my mom my dad and my grandfather before they passed away.

Also I worked as a nail a technician/manicurist in the Beauty industry from 1988 thru 2010. After that I worked 5 years as a caregiver to an elderly woman who turned 101 and just recently passed away. Unable to work weekends.

I have years of experience that lends well to working with seniors. I've used a wheelchair, walker, crutches, so I know what it's like. A friend who is a nurse asked me to help her with her step-father. I found my true calling. She became my mentor. I have a true passion to help others.

I have been in the medical industry my entire life. Caregiving is definitely the most rewarding part of the industry for me. I love making later life more liveable, enjoyable and worth while to seniors in the final years of life. I am energetic, compassionate, capable and loving all in one. I became a caregiver I like helping others n found it to be a gift im caring loving n gentle found it to be a,rewardiing job n its nice to be apart of the family worked with dementia patient n a non English learned to say Good morning n counting during exercise in their rehabilitation daily basis.im easy going .dependable .

I am a very open ,honest and fun person. I can easily adapt and improvise to almost any situation. I have worked in the medical field most of my life. Mostly in doctors offices and hospital settings. It has always been a passion of mine. I have 3 children who have different disabilities so I am capable of taking care of different degrees of medical situations. After raising my children I decided to get into home care. I enjoy working and helping people but also able to spend time with my family .
