I started being a caregiver when I was 25 years old, I always had a heart for people and helping others. I knew that was the type of work I wanted to do was give back my time and love to ones that need special care. I worked with clients from ages 17-78 some with mental and intellectual disabilities, to working with patients in a mental hospital suffering from depression, drug abuse, rape, self harm, suicidal thoughts and attempts. Well hello everyone! My name is Readina but all my residents call me Ree, it's easier for them. I always wanted to be in the medical field. First a surgeon, than an RN. So I started at the bottom and became an CNA. I been an CNA since 2013 and I absolutely love it. While working as an CNA I achieved becoming an CMA ( certified medication aide ) I can pass medications through the state of NJ. I did take the state test so I'm legit. Lol. I'm going to further my career and do my LPN course within the next year. Looking for a school as we speak. I really connect with all my residents it's not just a job for me, I care for them like they are my own grandparents or parents. I feel very honored to work with the elderly, you learn from them and I'm always learning something new. They really make my day, I wake up wanting to come to work. I'm very reliable and dependable and I rarely miss work, it has to be something tragic for me to miss work. Again, I think I would be the perfect caregiver for any family.
