Hello families, I am a , CNA- Certified Nurse Assisted. I have been working in the medical and non medical fields of healthcare for 22 years. I specialize in homecare, but I have worked 1:1 with a broad range of clients and patients from ages 0-105 years old. I have worked with geriatric clients in different facilities like, ALF, ACF, ADLF, SNF and more. I obtained my CNA certificate in 1997 from a well known community college. I also attended my clinicals at a very well known hospital. I enjoy what I do and I will continue to provide care to the ones in need. As long as I can put a smile on my clients/patients face at the end of the day I'm happy when I have made them happy.

What made me want to be a caregiver is having the heart that I do, knowing I would succeed in an area where I can advocate needs of others, show compassion and treat people with care. I wanted to work in a people related field because I plan on being a psychologist so I want to have as much experience with different types of people. My favorite thing about being a caretaker is being the person the clients trust and seeing them open up and learning who they are. I love hearing stories or jokes about their life or how they see things. One personal achievement I have is I created an activity club with over 100 activities to choose from ; to help kill time and occupy the individuals at the vocational center. I got a lot of recognition for it!

I am a very patient, loving and caring person with a passion for helping people in need. I love to be depended on and I love meeting new people and learning new things. That's what I enjoy most about being a caregiver, the experience and having someone depending on you is a heartwarming feeling to me. One personal achievement I am proud of is completing two associates degrees back to back, it was a challenge.
