Nursing is a calling, God placed it in my heart.I nurse as if I'm doing it unto the Lord I absolutely LOVE what I do & I'm so blessed through it.I've been voted the best nurse at my facility by my patients.I learn my patients, their individual needs, specific likes/dislikes and personality. I've been a nurse sine 2002 I am & will always be my patient's advocate.Insisting & ensuring they get the highest quality care.I'm very skilled, kind, patient, compassionate, giving & caring. My desire is to touch lives & improve the quality of life for those needing nursing care.I graduated nursing school with a 4.0, finished all but 7 months of RN school & then life happened & financially wasn't able to finish. Now unfortunately many of my classes have expired, but I'm ok with that lvn/rn just long as I'm nursing. I'm a 34yo mother to the BEST 16yo in the WORLD & very happily married woman.I'm originally from GA & I've got the southern drawl to prove it.I love animals of all kinds & believe they're a gift from God. I'm saved by grace through faith (thank you Jesus), I'm spiritual not religious. I'd never push my beliefs on you. Hi! My name is Kaliyah and some traits about me that help me to be a great caregiver is my ability to be understanding, compassionate, and a great communicator. My personal experience being a caregiver to my loved ones also adds to this. What attracted me to being a caregiver is wanting to help those who need it most. I have seen first hand and experienced what it's like to not be physically and mentally able to do for yourself and a little bit of help from a helping hand goes a long way. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is giving those in need back their sense of independence because as you grow in life it's important to hold on to that. A personal achievement I am proud of is obtaining my CPR/AED/First-Aid certification.

Since I was a child I liked to help and serve people who could not fend for themselves and through this profession I do what I like to do that is to serve and help people with their physical needs or disabilities and getting paid to do that. I like this work for my personal satisfaction that gives me to see many people that I can help and serve and contribute to their welfare. I am proud to have my nursing assistant license allows me to work in what I like to do. I'm still studying. And finish the course of LPN and I am preparing for the state exam. Serve and help people with a disability is my passion. I am a person who likes to serve people. I am very responsible in everything I do. I am very polite and very patient. I love and always cared for others rather if their in the best shape or not I love making people day and satisfying people needs. Im a great healthcare provider I'm compassionate always on time and a hard worker and really enjoy helping other. I have 11 yrs experience in healthcare and 3 1/2 yrs As a CNA. I think if we as the caregiver or CNA's are more understanding to the patient or resident everything will go much better.
