I'm the type of person that's very personable I love people and I love helping others. I worked at St Vincent hospital as a patient safety assistance I kept my patients safe I assisted them with restroom duties, feeding, walking, I played games with them watched television I became their companion. I've worked with people with all types of elements even hospice, ages from infants to 104 years of age. I also work with the seniors at my church. I'm a very nurturing person. I love people and I have never met a stranger. I believe that if I take great care of the elderly or whoever, when I get old someone will definitely take care of me. I have six children that I basically raised by myself when my husband left us. I have been through a lot but I have always had a special love for people. I have learned over the years that love goes without saying but its awesome to know and treated like you are loved. I will do my best to make sure my clients are treated with love and the upmost respect at all times. I am trustworthy, dependable, punctual and a team player. I will do my very best at all times to make sure my clients are taken care of.

I am a very caring person, and treating patients as family. I love taking care of people that is not able to take care of themselves. I have always been a care giver in one way or another.I was a mother of 5 and little sister of two spoiled older brothers.I love to do crafts, gardening, also love animals. Hi my name is Erin. Let me start by telling you why I got into this line of work to begin with. My dad is 60 yrs old now but in 2013 he was diagnosed with leukemia. He went through several rounds of chemo and then his bone marrow transplant. After a bone marrow transplant they give you medicine to keep you from rejecting the transplant. He was so sick and not getting any better. He began having siezures which lead the doctors to do more tests to find out why and when they did they found that he was allergic to the medicine and it had caused him to have several strokes. From there he went on to an acute care facility and to rehab but he was never the same. It left him paralyzed. While he was in and out if these facilities we saw so many things that were just wrong. Patients calling for nurses and the nurses never went to help. After that we took him home and mother and I learned to care for my father ourselves. After all that I decided I was going to go into home healthcare to care for people so that they didn't have to go to a nursing home because people deserve to be loved and cared for just like my father. This personal experience is what makes me a great caregiver.

Being around my clients help me to be a phenomenal Caregiver. The way I watched my friends take care of their loved ones, attracted me to being a Caregiver. What I enjoy about being a Caregiver is the love and support that we give to help the client feel comfortable. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is when I had a client to fall on the floor I was able to rescue her quickly and get her the care she needed before going to the ER.
