I've worked as a HHA (home health aide) and RA (facility living). I've very trust worthy when it comes to showing up on time and on short notice. I love talking to my residents about their past lives to really get to know them and what they love. I just moved down here from the jackson Michigan area and I'm ready to start helping people in community using my skills!

I grew up the oldest of 7 children, so caregiving and nurturing comes very natural to me and I love making others happy. I love helping people laugh, enjoy life, feel good about their day and stay active (at any pace)! A personal achievement I am proud of would definitely be playing basketball in college while participating in a mentor program for elementary children and winning college mentor of the year. What I believe makes me a great caregiver is because I always go above & beyond for my elders & treat them like my own family. I'm a naturally caring person & that's what I do best. What attracted me to being a caregiver is I have volunteered in the ER with my grandmother, who is a RN & I loved the rush & learning, which led me to going for my CNA license which I accomplished in high school while taking college classes. Hello! My name is Logan and I've been a caregiver for 7 years (longer if you count my personal life) - My brother has epilepsy and I always was a second caregiver to him as he started having seizures when he was only 8 years old, making me 3 months old at the time. I started young working as a PCA at an assisted living facility and after a year of being there I got offered an assistant managers position at Goldenrod, a group home for adults with disabilities. After being there for 3 months I was promoted to Residential Manager of the two homes I oversaw. I love working with people, putting smiles on their faces and more times than not them putting smiles on mine too! I realize this line of work is difficult for some people and it truly isn't for everyone but I believe that you should enjoy what you do especially when you spend so much time doing it and if I'm helping someone even a little, I've had a good day.

I've been a caregiver for about 4 years now. I received my CNA license while I was still in high school. I wanted to become a caregiver ever since I was really little, I used to volunteer at a nursing home when I was younger. I love helping people feel as comfortable as I can, and putting smiles on their faces.
