I'm reliable, caring , patient,honest, hardworking. I've been doing home care since 2010. I've worked with seniors as well as clients with disabilities. I enjoy caring and helping out. I find my job very rewarding and can't picture myself doing anything else. I enjoy the one on one care and gaining a relationship with my clients.

I wished to be a nurse when I was very young. Higher education was not my cup of tea. I love my mother and father 93 and almost 99 respectively. I cook great, healthy meals and enjoy seeing my family consume them happily. Taking them to appointments and cleaning are necessary events that benefit everyone. I was an instructor for the Medicare project for over a decade and touched many lives in a positive way.

The first time I began to consider the nursing field as a future career choice was in 2004. I was 8 years old when I swam with my aunt Rose in their private pool and she had a seizure. I was able to recall basic knowledge about seizures taught from my two aunts who were nurses. I set a spoon inside of a towel and placed it in her mouth. I then yelled to her son, my cousin, "Call 911!" At that moment I was performing a cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It was the longest five minutes I have dealt with; it felt like an eternity. From that day onward, I wanted to make a difference by helping people to the best of my abilities. I am thankful that my other two aunts were nurses, and that they had taught me some basic medical knowledge which I was able to use to save my Aunt's life. I was born and raised in the Philippines and had moved to the United States on October 4th, 2009 to be with my mother and grandmother. Growing up, my family members would always describe me as a person that tries their best in everything they do, whether it is school, family, or my job. No matter how hard the obstacles are, I aim for success. I supported myself financially after high school with daily needs and college school expenses by working full time and signing up for extra shifts. In March 2014 to March 3, 2016, I worked 16 hour shifts, 2 days in a row every weekend at Garden Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. When I did not have classes in the morning, on the weekdays I would work 8 hour shifts in the afternoon or night and vice versa if I had school in the afternoon. In doing so, I was able to pay for my car, insurance, necessities, school, and help my grandmother. I love helping other help other individuals medically, emotionally, and spiritually by providing the best patient care with all of my heart.

Hi! My name is Jessica, but everyone has known me as just JP for years now. I feel as if I make great as a CNA because of my experience and knowledge base. I've been trained to provide care for patients with a wide range of needs, as well as knowledge of medical devices and equipment. I am outgoing and patient and fun and unique. Hello, I'm Tamika I live in Hoyt, Kansas. I've been a Certified Nursing Assistant since 2014 in the state of Kansas. Previously, I was a Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication Aide in Nebraska started in 2011, before becoming certified in Kansas. I really enjoy working with patients/clients who need assistance with activities of daily living, whether its getting up and ready for the day, medication reminders, ambulation assistance, meal preparation, or just compainonship. I became a Certified Nursing Assistant because I enjoy making someones day bright by just a simple smile. I'm a single mom of a 4 year old boy. I work August through May as a Special Education Para with visually impaired children, for local school district.

Becoming a caregiver has been a great experience for me. I have learned so much from working with seniors and the great stories and life advice I get has been what makes working as a CNA something I love to do. I'm reliable and very hard working, always ready for the day staying positive and having compassion for others. I have been working as a caregiver for 10 years and have worked in skilled nursing homes, rehab, home health and hospice. Able to help with personal hygiene, showers, getting ready in the morning or getting ready for bed. Transferring in and out of w/c, meal preparation, meal setup, medication reminders, transportation for errands or doctor visits. One on one companionship and help with daily needs.

I am 18, and new to the CNA world! A few months ago I started as a caregiver for a company called A Helping Hands in home care, I met so many wonderful clients through A Helping Hands, that bonded really well with me, that it's only made me want to further my education in Health and medicine.
