I believe I am the best caregiver because prior to becoming certified I look care of both my parents that were terminally ill. That is actually what made me decide on this field of work,I love caring for others and assisting others to accomplish task that they normally could not do on there own.My proudest accomplishments is when I had the privilege to work with an patient that was tramatic brain injury and I tought her to do the simplest task such as washing het face,brushing her hair and feeding herself among many other things that were once a struggle for her.

I have been a caregiver for over 30 years. I began as a teenager in nursing homes but found in home care when I was a personal trainer. I was training a client in her home and it was then that I decided I wanted to spend more time helping the elderly remain in their homes. I am very easy going but I'm a a great worker. I do my best to help each individual maintain their dignity and respect while maintaining as much independence as possible. I enjoy the fact that people are comfortable with me at a time when someone must come into their environment which has been sacred to them for so long. My name is Deanna I am 34 years of age with no children. What attracted the most to look into this field and to sign me up for CNA school was for my grandparents that I was very close to and who raised me so I did it for them! Because unfortunately, my grandmother was in a nursing home and she was very neglected to the point. Some thing happened to her and she passed away so she gave me my motivation to be where I'm at today. I'm a very compassionate person very honest the most outright patience I have for people is incredible always in a positive mood And I've always wanted to take care of others who don't have others to take care of them. I'm very organized I have a routine and I get along with everybody, but if I have a tough client who is behavioral that intrigues me more to stay in the field that I am in only because I know how to approach those clients in the correct manner.
