Some traits that I have that are necessary in the health care industry are patience, great communication, attentiveness, loyal, humorous, caring & respectful. One thing that attracted to being a caregiver is the way my clients feel after I've done my shift, me being able to help someone is enough for me to have a great day! I enjoy helping them and the most I enjoy about it is that I'm able to learn about them, where they've grown up, the things they've accomplished, just hearing their lives makes me happy and I know it makes them happy as well.

My personality traits as a caregiver I'm outgoing, understanding, organized, have a kind heart and honest. What attracted me of becoming a caregiver over 17 years ago was I saw my grandmother served her community. A caregiver to those in our neighborhood and other people that needed her support. I enjoy hearing the stories of the elderly of the things they did previously in their life. One of my greatest achievement that I am very proud of being a caregiver is previous had a patient that was a hospice was told that she only had several weeks and I came in and supported her and showed her kindness and she survived over a year with peace, comfort and great care.

Hello, I am a compassionate & loving person. I do this work because it brings me joy to help people in need. I have been involved with in home care since I was 25 & I am now 40. Most of my experience is with Dementia/ Alzheimer's. I pride myself on my patience with the elderly. I love to sit ( if we have time ) and just listen to them, they have so much experience and knowledge. I have a very wide variety of experience.

I have been a caregiver for 20 years, I got into this work just trying to help out a friend and I enjoyed it so much that I never stopped doing it! I have found it to be very rewarding, it feels good to be there for others and have the ability to make positive difference in their life. I work well with dementia/Alzheimer's residents, am very familiar with diabetic needs, comfortable with assisting with transfers and mobility (and always do so with safety in mind), experience with catheter and ostomy/stoma, tube feeding, hoyer and sit to stand lifts, and much more. I always try to anticipate the needs of my residents and make sure they are met in a timely manner. I enjoy getting to know them, and doing little things that I know will brighten their day. I truly love what I do and try to do everything I can to help enhance their quality of life and maintain a sense of independence. I am extremely dependable and punctual, have a strong work ethic, carry myself with integrity, and consider myself to have high morals, ethics, and standards. I am able to follow directions, do things the way I'm asked to and not just the way I would like to do them, and strongly believe in doing the job I'm being paid to do.
