Hello,
I began my caregiving experience in 2009 working at Alternative Opportunities, Inc. located in Springfield, MO as an in-home caregiver for mentally and physically handicapped adults. This included meal prep, observational bathing, light housework, medication administration, and charting/ documentation.
In 2010 I had the opportunity to provide hospice support for my great-grandmother in Ava, MO as she neared the end of her life. I primarily provided companionship and medication administration.
In 2012 I provided support as an observational sitter when my grandmother entered an induced coma for aneurysm care in a Las Vegas, NV hospital.
Throughout these experiences, I have learned how to provide care by being observant, respectful, diplomatic, confidential, and reliable.
My personal motto is that all God's children deserve love and care.

I've worked with people of all diversities from school age to old age. I worked at Daybreak an adult daycare while my sons were little and enjoyed the adults that attended the day facility. I also drove them home each night and helped them into their homes. On Saturdays we would drive around and provide them lunch. Many of the older people at the facility were unable to cook.
