I originally wanted to become a caregiver for my uncle who passed away. After he passed away it transpired into wanted to help people and make them feel good/ better despite their conditions. I love to uplift and encourage people so this seemed like the perfect way to do it ! What I enjoy the most is being humbled by the job it makes me appreciate life and people more than ever. I feel good knowing that I was able to help someone whether physically, mentally or even emotionally. That is the truly rewarding part of it. I think my social skills and my vibrant personality help to connect even better with people. A client once told me that my smile lot up the room whenever I arrived to the facility. That was the best compliment I ever received. I'm proud to be a caregiver and I can't wait to help even more people if given the opportunity.
