Ever since I was a little girl I can always remember I always had a connection with the elderly all the neighbors around me were in their 70s and 80s and I would spend my time going to visit them talking to them making sure they were OK and has always done it sense I love to listen to their stories it makes them feel good about themselves to talk to people give me a great sense of pride in helping the elderly with any needs they have so they know they're not alone. I am very patient have a big heart and just truly enjoy being able to give back to the people who really need it and the elderly on the top of the list of people who need help I am very dependable responsible I love the smile on their face when you make them laugh it makes their day right out of high school I think the home health aide course Inc Batavia at gentiva for a couple years after that I went on to Brothers Of Mercy and took their CNA course and I worked at Brothers Of Mercy for over five years once I started having children I was a stay at home mother and I took in my grandmother who had Alzheimer's and dementia and diabetes she lived with us For over 2 1/2 years until she had a major stroke and passed away I've had my own daycare for over four years I also worked at Johnnys Angels taken care of I have an elderly woman with us and I absolutely loved her we had enough time all the time I would bring her to some of my kids sports events to get her out of the house and she loved it .

Hello! I've been a CNA for over 7 years now. I also have been doing home care for almost 2 years. I love working in the medical field. I prefer home care over the nursing facilities however. I love the 1 on 1 time I get to spend with my clients.

Hi! My name is Hope and I am 22 years old. I first started in the field of care giving in 2016 after I completed my boces class for nursing in high school. Helping people has always been my passion. Learning I can make a difference in peoples lives keeps me going and only makes me want to do more. In the last few months I went to school, recently became a Cna and started working at a senior nursing facility. I love my job. Waking up and realizing you get to help multiple loved ones is a blessing to me. I provide exceptional care and compassion to everything I do. I have a handsome 2 year old son and elder parents who also need my help as well. Sometimes it's difficult balancing my personal life and my work life. But the outcome is amazing and I wouldn't change it for the world!. Being in the health field I've met many people of different walks of life, and I can say it's a beautiful thing. Getting to know different ways people live, their religion, background, ethnicity etc. has been very knowledgeable and a great blessing because I know I can take it with me wherever I go. I can proudly say that I love what I do with a passion and many people can say the same about me!. I'm a full time stay at home mom blessed with 2 beautiful children. In the process of going back to school to finish my degree for nursing. Have been a caregiver since I was a child. My biggest strength is caregiving and it truly is my calling in life to help others in need. It is also my passion to pursue a career in the health field.

I am a great caregiver because i am very good at what i do skills wise, i also love helping people achieve their goals I'm very supportive. I always have a smile on my face because i love what i do and i enjoy being with my clients. What attracted me to be a caregiver was my mom! She has been in the health care field for as long as i could remember and i wanted to be like her, when i started in this field i enjoyed it a lot and i still do. What i like most about what i do is seeing people with the different conditions and seeing that they are still maintaining their independence and in their own home and me being able to assist them with that. A personal achievement i am proud of is finishing my CNA class and passing my written test i am now waiting to schedule my skills test, once i have my CNA certificate i will be even more proud and able to perform more tasks and assist my clients with a higher scope of help.
