Things that makes me a great care giver is putting someone else's interest ahead of my own. We must love our neighbors as we love our self. So the love that I have for humans is deep rooted. Which makes me want to willingly help more. What brought me closer to wanting to be a care giver is the challenges that I know some elderly people have or people who needed that extra assistance may have issues and sometimes nothing can help suppress that satisfaction but the satisfaction have to be following the rules and making sure that the patient is well taking care of. What I enjoy most about care giving is seeing the smiles on the clients and or patients faces when goals have been accomplished that lets me know that they see what I'm doing, they appreciate it and they want an encore because of the services they've received . A personal achievement that I am proud of is being a dedicated servant of god. That is a marvelous blessing to me.

(2) Why did I become a caregiver: When i was in my early twenties I had got a job in activities in a Nursing Facility and realized this was my passion. Then became a Cna/ Gna. I enjoy caring for others. (3) What do I like about being a caregiver: I like being a caregiver because it makes me feel good to know that I'm having a positive impact caring for someone .

Having a computer background and working in the technical field for about 15 years, my life changed completely when I decided to start my own family. I have been a caregiver and I just love it. I have provided my caring services in many stages of my life and I just realized that I enjoy it. I realize that there is plenty of aging people who needs quality care, compassion, companionship and help in their daily lives. I am a very compassionate person and would love to find a nice family who could benefit of my great personality and care for a loved one.

I am a great caregiver because I treat my clients male, or female, as if he, or she, are one of my family members. No there's no limits to my care, I will always go above and beyond. I've changed a lot of live, I also have saved lives, with in the past fourteen years I've been in this field. I became a caregiver because of several family members are in the same field, my mom is an registered nurse, going on 35 years, my grandmother was a LPN, and my aunts are CNA. So it deep rooted, so to speak.

I was born in the family of health professionals. Often times I watched my Mum treat people who were ill and those with wounds. I learned to exercise patience with a patient and to treat them with love and care. I once took care of a 90 year old man and the family were happy as their father sounded happier each passing day. I love meeting new people that's what interests me most about this job.

My personality traits and expertise that helps me to be a great caregiver are my confidence in what I do and passion and love for the patience. The love for people attracts me and it's a part of who I am. I enjoy their presence and listening to how they live a great life . I am proud of giving a great presentation at work and also that I can leave a client satisfied with my care.

I am caregiver for 10 years

For years in my childhood to my early teen years I helped to take care of my grandmother who raised me. Taking care of her has made me more open to doing this as a career. I am looking to get my CNA license in the nearby future and I feel in-home care will be great experience for jobs I may seek to pursue in the future. I believe I am very reliable and trustworthy and always looking to learn new things and meet new people. Several of my family members I grew up around have jobs in health care. For example, I went to work with my aunt in a assisted living facility when I was younger and made friends with the elderly.
