I genuinely love being able to take care of people and especially the elderly. I have always been very passionate about being there for the elderly and taking care of them as if they're my own grandparents. I have overcome a lot of fear I had with being around new people and new surroundings, and working with the elderly has taught me a lot of life skills, and most importantly being patient. I will be a great caregiver because I love working with the elderly I love meeting new people I love doing as asked I love socializing with the elderly and even their families.what attracted me to being a caregiver was because I have experienced taking care of my grandmother who had passed away and I have experience taking care of other clients I love working with the elderly due to the fact that I love helping I love being a helper. I enjoy working with people and enjoy jobs where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel I can get along well with a variety of elders. It is essential that a great caregiver (Myself) feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion, a caregiver will let the person know that they care about them. For instance, they will try and do what they can to help - not because they have to, but because they want to.

I am a loving, compassionate caregiver, who believes in providing the highest degree of quality care and service to patients in their homes, assisted living, memory care, Hospice or other types of facilities; and am seeking the opportunity to give back to our elderly, the respect and caring they deserve. The thing I enjoy most about caring for others is the blessing I receive from the patients. I think the Lord has called me to this type of work so that He, in working through me, shares the comfort, peace and love, that only He can give. I have discovered in working with the terminally ill or those in Hospice, that they end of blessing me far more as I learn about their background, family, spiritual beliefs -- they become my family. One of my most precious moments, was being with a sweet lady who was at the end of life. As the CD's played soft music of old hymns and after praying and reading scripture to her for several days; I experienced her smile and hand on my cheek, just before the angels escorted her from this world into Glory.
