I am a retired school teacher. I taught special education students in Texas approximately forty years. I have taken care of my 96 year old mother for the last eight years of my life. I have a great deal of experience with people who face physical, emotional or mental problems.

I'm a caring person who loves to help Other and especially elderly people. Im patient and loving. A Personal achievement I am proud of is being a single mom and strong. Wouldn't trade it for The world.

I am a very friendly person who loves to be around people and care for them. I am talkative and can provide the companionship that is similar to a family members. I had an aunt that needed help to be cared for and I chose to help. I loved being able to comfort her through her pain and loneliness and I knew then I needed to be in the medical field and help care for people who need it. I love being the reason for even the slightest smile. If I can make a person feel loved or happy even for just a second makes me feel like I am doing something right. An achievement that I am proud of is being able to pursue my dreams through experiences such as nursing homes and to carry it on and become something bigger for the world to get help when they need it.

What attracted you to being a caregiver? I wanted to become a care giver because I love helping the elderly and i feel people don't do much for the elderly like they should or treat them the way they are suppose to be treated. plus love helping people if I can. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? I love helping them and keeping them in a safe positive mind set and not make them feel like they are left out that they are still here and loved as well as noticeable and not forgotten. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? My personal goals I'm proud of is living life to the fullest and continuing what I do and love the most which is a care giver. I'm a loving, helping kind hearted person and love my job. As long as my care giver family is taken care of to the best of my ability that's all that matters. What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? My personality is what makes me I'm a out going person with a big heart full of gold, good at what i do and just all the round good and best at what i do.

I am a laid back type of person that very seldom takes anything personally. I have always been involved with serving people. I take great pride in my ability to communicate which has taken me years of hard work to develop. I believe communication is more than just the words we say but also body language, tone, and eye contact. I believe I can relate to most people because I listen and emphasize with them. My Master's degree is probably one of the proudest things I've accomplished. I worked full time (60+ hours a week), was a youth leader, and the last 2 years of college, I was a single father taking care of a son with a unknown heart issue. I finished all 6 years of college on the Dean's list.

Hello I'm Taylor Lira and I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for almost 5 years. I really enjoy being able to care for others when they are in time of need. It's my passion to walk into a home, facility, or a building and know you are there to help someone that is no longer able to care for themselves. It's a great feeling knowing they have someone that cares for them just as if there were your own family. It's the 5 years I have worked as a caregiver my proudest achievement has been gaining more than just a patient with the homes I have gone into. I have grown to love each patient as if they were my grandmother/grandfather.

I'm a single mother whom has worked in the nursing home and I have done private care I do plan to go to school for behavioral science to get my doctor's I have a passion for art. My son has left me to better his life and make new adventures out in the army. I enjoy caring and getting to know my residents whom I got to say think of me as a little girl don't get me wrong I am a big kid at heart I just want to make u smile and happy at the end of the day no matter how the day started. I do plan to see the art around the world and to share my art.....
