I have been a caregiver for more than 15 years. I am very reliable and dependable. I truly enjoy coming to work everyday and getting to put smiles on my clients faces even when they are having a hard day.

My name is Kathleen and I have been caring for infants and adults for over 10 years. After graduating High School, my grandmother became ill and needed a full time caregiver. I wasn't sure how I would do but it didn't take long to realize I enjoyed taking care of others. Soon after my children were born I began working at a daycare, so that I would be able to take my children with me to work. I enjoyed taking care of infants and toddlers, but as my children got older and started school full time I decided to apply at an assisted living facility. After working there about 6 months I decided this would be my career path. I took an accredited course to become a certified nurses aide and began working at a skilled nursing facility. I have heard so many memories and stories from my sweet residents, and the joy on their faces make me feel like I am making a difference.

I can help relive the old days I live working with the elderly because I love to hear the stories back when they were little and young. Nursing as an RN for 17 years. Had several back surgeries and retired in 2012 and now wish to return to work as a senior care provider. My nursing specialty was in geriatrics the elderly. Enjoy being around seniors listening to their stories and helping them with their personal care and their home cleaning needs. Willing to work weekdays weekends and holidays. I have no restrictions on availability. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record as well as a clean background check, and am willing to transport clients to doctor appointments and grocery store needs. I will soon be graduating college, and am looking for a job that I will enjoy doing between the time I graduate, and attend graduate school to become an Occupational Therapist. I believe becoming a caregiver is the perfect job for me at this time, because I enjoy getting to work individually with patients, and caring for them, while also enabling them to have a better quality of life. I am very passionate about people and think that a job as a caregiver will allow me to use my skills and personality for the better.
