Hello there. I'm Gabby. I'm a very outgoing, energetic, positive vibes CNA and currently working on obtaining my RN degree licensure. I offer excellent care for your loved ones, giving you the peace of mind you need and deserve. As a single mom of three teenagers (now all 3 are in college!) I moved to North Carolina 8 years ago to be closer to my own aging parents. In 2015, Dad became wheelchair bound with Parkinsons and Mom was no longer able to care for him. I rolled up my sleeves and made the necessary renovations on my home there and moved them both in with me. I pushed pause on my nursing studies and was able to spend some great quality time with Dad before he passed away a week before Christmas in December 2018. Mom's dementia had been progressing, so I became his sole caregiver and provided for his every need until he "graduated." Three months later, Mom had a massive stroke rendering her the equivalent of a three year old. No longer able to dress, toilet, or feed herself or even articulate what she needed, I stepped up to the plate again and began caring for her 24/7 until her death one year ago. I would not trade even a millisecond of the time I was able to be with my parents. It allowed me some great moments with each of them and helped me fine tune my skills as a professional caregiver. I've been involved in homecare/caregiving most of my life. My experience has been in different settings; nursing homes, assisted living and private duty homecare. Nowadays though I prefer working in a private setting. I've done other types of work but none as rewarding as homecare. I realized early on in life I had an easy rapport with older people, listening to their stories of another era, empathizing with any struggles they may be having and just being a friend and companion. For me there is nothing more fulfilling .

Not only does it make me feel good & important to be making a difference in someone's life, it also brings me so much joy when I'm walking out of a client's house being thanked & praised, seeing that smile is a must or my day isn't complete . Caring for others just gives me a fulfillment that I'll never grow tire of.

My name is angel. I am 26. I am newly married. I do not have children. I have worked for 5 plus years with adults and youth with disabilities. I worked 2 years in a skilled nursing facility. I have been doing in home care for seniors for about 2 years.

What makes me a good caregiver is because I take care of my patient as they were my own parents or my own grandparents. I became a caregiver when my grandparents was not able to function on their own so I decided to quit my job nd took care of them in my home. I'm looking forward to be meeting and working with new clients and families.

I have been a caregiver for 16 yrs i love taking care of people growing up i was the oldest so i had to take care of my mother who had many health issues and when i was 17 i got into the companies and did live in this is where my heart has always been i want to be a register nurse one day. I have always loved caring for people from infancy to older age. I have tons of experience with kids, and some experience with seniors. I became inspired to begin caregiving to senior when my grandmother fell sick and I helped care for her for years. She recently passed away and I found a lot of joy and fulfillment being able to help her. I love being able to form relationships with the people I am providing care for and be their as their friend as well. I am very sociable and a great listener and also have lots of experience with special need and have developed a great sense of patience and appreciation because of it.

I am a mother of two beautiful girls. One who is going to the U of U for a bachelor's in psychology, and another who is a full time mom. I have a beautiful granddaughter that is almost two. I am a family oriented person who loves to do outdoor activities of any kind. I have a passion for caregiving and always have. My mother taught me at a young age about caregiving and would tell me stories that attracted me to it.

I have over 10 years experience working with the elderly. I also have experience working with blind and hearing impaired individuals as well as those with Alzheimer's disease.
