I am Virginia Board Certified Nursing Assistant with over five years of home health and assisted living care. After raising four children I returned to school and became certified as a Home Health Aid, Nursing Assistant as well as Phlebotomy Tech. I believe that everyone has the right to quality care, and an advocate to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. Raising four children has taught me that one must always use and implement active listening skills as well as expect the unexpected. My passion for health care comes from years of experience as a mother, wife and caregiver to family and friends.

What makes me a great caregiver ?? I started out as doing this job because I wanted to learn how to take care of my aunt , I ended up enjoying helping people so it became a job I wanted to do . I plan to become a RN and this was just a foot in the door but I'm glad I did it .

Because I love caring for older people and taking care of kids. Seeing the elderly smile and learning their life experiences and love being part of their family. Helping someone come out of her second stroke she's 92 and I am still caring for her. I started off working with children ages 3-17 with autistic disorders, substance, mental and physical abuse ( Youth counselor). I then branched off into working with elderly adults.
