I have been involved in healthcare since the age of 15 , starting as a "candy striper" volunteer and worked in many areas of the hospital until of age to work in Emergency Medicine. I have been an active EMT/ Paramedic with both volunteer and career departments and taken part in evaluating home safety checks for residents. As a healthcare professional, I have worked in various hospitals and am very knowledgeable in diseases, aging process and treatments. I have a soft heart for our Veterans with several Veteran family members. I love people and enjoy conversing with elders that have so much to share.

I became a caregiver 22 years ago when (at that time) my mothers employer was looking for a 'fill-in' person. I gave it a try and absolutely fell in love with what I did! I have been a C.N.A. for now 2 years. I love what I do. My great grandma is who inspired me to be who I am today i took care of my great grandma for 5years she passed away 2years ago that's when I decided to do something i enjoyed doing. I wish I would have done the schooling when she was alive so I could have took better care of her i had no idea how to take care of prevent bed sores. No knowledge at all on bed sores.. But I did i know she would be proud of me. I treat my patients as if I'm taking care of my mom or grandma. I treat others how I want to be treated. I am good at what I do i do not mind working weekends or nights i am up for any shift. I work hard and always on time.

I am currently a CNA at Riverside Doctors Hospital but am looking to get into Home Health Care. I have been a CNA for over 2 years now and love every moment of it. I have a lot of patience and enjoy spending time with people. I love being there for someone's love one when they can't be, but they know that they are being well taken care of and watched over.

Hello, My name is Danielle. I've been a caregiver for 11 years and I absolutely love it. I got into the healthcare field due to my father having early onset Alzheimer's. I love the healthcare field and it has been my passion ever since. It's a career I am very proud of and take pride in.

I have been a care giver on and off since my senior year in high school which totals 34 years. I love being a caregiver and the rewarding benefit of seeing the individuals improve. I am very compassionate and treat everyone like my family. I became a caregiver because of the rewarding feel I get from it. I remember working in a nursing facility and the other attendants couldn't get a gentlemen to eat on his own and before I left i had him eating on his own which made me so happy because he was literally on the verge of getting a feeding tube.

I have 9-10 years of caregiver experience. 4 of those years are in home car, and 5/6 of those years are in a nursing home setting.

I have good personality and interpersonal traits, my expertise range from the basis of love care and support which i have done for many years in Cape Town South Africa. I was mainly attracted to become a care giver when i saw the need from seniors in South Africa who lived on their own and have to go on their own to the super market to buy food in dangerous areas where they can be mugged and have their money taken from them. I enjoy socializing with the seniors, listening to their past experiences and also learning from their sickness or illness be it diabetics or any other disease, i love learning more on how best they love to be treated. I cared for my late mother in-law who had diabetics and i enjoyed every minute of helping her to manage her sugar levels and monitoring and record keeping of all the readings. I am proud of the fact that i had this quality time to be a care giver in my home to my mother as well as to my mother in-law. I have also cared for Senator Jack Edward Jones in Harare Zimbabwe at the age of 18, i had the love to care for seniors. He had been mugged and tripped on his hip bone and underwent surgery, upon discharge from the hospital, i personally managed the care at home until he could get out of bed. I did bed baths and i loved it because i knew he cant do it for himself, then who else if i was present in the home, it had to be me.
