My mother taught me to be loving, caring, and all around kind therefore that is what I intend to do.

What helped me be a caregiver is my mom looking up to her for so many years many years made me wanna be a aid I have been a aid since my 11th grade of high school. What attracted me was that I love people, I love working with older people not just people kids as well but I'm 19 years old and sweet and caring and everyone loves me and i respect people I treat people how I wanna be treated which is good. I treat the patients as if it was my family. I love to sit and listen to stories that they have to tell about back when they were growing up. If you sit and listen to the elderly they can teach you a lot of stuff. I enjoy spending time with them. If they like to listen to music I will put that on for them. If they would like to go outside then I will be more than happy to keep them active.
