Caring for others has been a lifelong passion of mine! I'm happiest when helping others, so I find this field of work very rewarding in many ways. I grew up watching my mother learn and be a great nurse so she is definitely my inspiration. What I enjoy most is definitely just making a difference, being able to be there and insert patience and understanding in a situation of discomfort. Many don't understand how hard it can be to accept help when you have always helped others yourself, that's the role of a caregiver.

I treat the patients as if it was my family. I love to sit and listen to stories that they have to tell about back when they were growing up. If you sit and listen to the elderly they can teach you a lot of stuff. I enjoy spending time with them. If they like to listen to music I will put that on for them. If they would like to go outside then I will be more than happy to keep them active.

I also received my Bachelors in Healthcare Administration management in April, 2016. I have 16 years' experience in the health care field, working with Alzheimer's patients. Additionally, I have experience in management within Healthcare faculties, working as a manger in a "Special Care Unit, which housed twenty-eight patients. I am also a certified coding, and billing specialist. Lastly, I have taught (Special Care) classes to the staff in regards to Dementia patients. I have many years of specialty working with handicap children and also volunteered working with children in Middle school settings. In addition, I have volunteered working for Hospice.
