Ive always felt that taking care of people was my calling. I received my BA from Virginia Commonwealth University and I am currently working on my masters at Mary Baldwin University. I work a full-time at home job and am looking to pick up a few hours working as a CNA. I enjoy working as a CNA because I love getting to know people and their stories, assisting those who may have no one else to depend on, and providing genuine support. I became a caregiver because I have a great passion to care for people. I love putting smiles on people's face in which is a healthy therapy for people I care and work for.

I am laid back and easy going. My clients like me because I allow them to do whatever they're able to do. I only help them to keep them safe. I feel my client find their autonomy one of the most important things they have left. I love this work. I feel like I'm an important part of these people's lives. The one thing I hate is when I have to leave them for one reason or another.

I am a young ambitious female trying to work her way through the medical field. I started taking care of adult with mental disabilities when I was 18 and have continued on that track. I love helping others and seeing someone else thrive is my true passion. I am willing to help anyone succeed, and I hope I am part of the reason why they did. I believe I am a great caregiver because I genuinely enjoy helping people, it is very rewarding for me. I became a CNA in 1996, while working at a large nursing home/retirement center, in the hospitality field, because I really enjoyed working with the elderly making their lives a little brighter. I continued to work there for seven years, I also worked in assisted living for ten years, then private duty care which I also enjoy.
