My duties were to pick up special education children from the school bus, and walk them to class every morning to be sure they arrive safe and escorted to class. Then, do activities with them as instructed by my supervisor. We would sit near our student and be sure that they are helped throughout the day of their school curriculum activities in class work. Later we would escort them to cafeteria for lunch and sit beside our student and assist with eating. Later towards the day we continue activities and by the end of the day, we again escort them back to meet their bus pick up. I'm responsible of my student that they are on the bus schedule as assigned, I do not leave until clearance from the bus driver check in log is completed. That's my job everyday from 7:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Monday through Friday client care, from 10-2 p.m. Non-Medical care. Every morning I would drive out to Kailua town to resident home, pick up her mail for her and take it in as well as her garbage bin if needed. Greet my client with a SMILE and ask her about how she is feeling and any complaints or changes in her health. I would do her vitals such as B/P, diet CC, and any sleep disorder etc. I would log info into her chart and initial. Then as the morning starts, I ask her if she prefers breakfast, usually she already had it done by herself before my arrival. Then, I would ask her what is the agenda for the day, such as errands, Dr. appointments dentist and shopping? We would then plan our day out. Every morning I would then do her bed, as well as lite housekeeping. Laundry, dishwasher, dusting, sweep, mop or anything as requested by my client. I usually work on Saturdays if requested. I like Monday through Friday work schedule.

General Office Clerk, duties consists of answering phone, mail delivery to appropriate departments, taking messages and sorting mail. Monday through Friday work week 8-4 p.m. Traffic Surveyor my job was to calculate with the company's equipment (video camera and traffic counter) to observe people crossing the Waikiki street crosswalks and log info on our surveyor sheet provided. By the end of the day, we turn our report in to Olsten Staffing supervisor. I was on a "on call" list as needed. I also worked with the same company as jobs would come along Olsten Staffing would call me to work as requested. I performed work with HMSA ( Hawaii Medical Service) stuffing envelopes as instructed and using numerical order while stuffing envelopes out to addressed labels. I also took notion to identify numerical numbers if correspondence didn't match, I would bring it to the attention of to my Superior to notify of such discrepancy.

I actually was hired to replace someone on vacation during that time. Dr. Hobbs enjoyed my work there as my internship program was completed at her clinic. The nurse there remembered me and I had a great rapport from them, that they called me in to fil the vacant positon for two weeks. I got hired then and Dr. Hobbs really liked how I greeted my patients as well taking initiative to upkeep cleaning of the office and learning to do accounting of patients billings. I left there because I thought I would get paid more at other jobs with my certificate. I was offered $8.50 to start, which at that time was too low for my skills. But I learned a lot there.

Flexible schedule, prepare sandwiches and clean out deli area everyday, including cashiering and stocking of products and removing expired foods from shelves. (hot/cold) I actually got terminated for my attendance.

Foster care aide for a family friend, who had no family to care for him. 75 years young with Parkinsons disease. He had a fall living by himself at his condo, and his Doctor asked me if I would be able to care for him until they could contact his family. I accepted because I love elderly people. I cared for my mom as well while she was alive. My duties included preparation of his special diet meal which consists of soft food (puree) he had dentures. I also took him to his banking, and Doctor appointments as needed. His care was for about a year then I had the assistance of "Visiting Angels" to help me transition my patient, due to my daughter was in her Senior year in High School I had to focus on her, at the same time going through a difficult divorce. Mr. Yamamoto adjusted to it, sadly I really didn't want to see him go, but I had no choice then. Priority was my daughter.
