Became a caregiver to my grandmother when I was only 16yrs old. She was very ill and inability to care for herself. I was attending school with a moderate schedule so I could be home. When she passed I attended wahiawa nurses aide course. After that I went to cosmetology school. Then I went to education America for associates degree in clinical medical assisting.. I always worked as a caregiver for numerous staffing companies. I love caring for clients and I also enjoy the fact that families get a restpit time knowing their love ones are in great care.
Some personality traits I think make me an awesome CNA is having aloha. I was raised to always be kind to everyone regardless and it's helped me not only with my job but life in itself. I'm very outgoing and down to earth, good listener, and very compassionate about my job. I enjoy being a caregiver because of the stories I get to hear from my clients, we often forget they had a whole life before so it's amazing to know and I just enjoy making any part of the day easier for the elderly. A personal achievement I'm proud of would be getting my CNA license as it was a huge fear for me but I'm here now with great experience!
Being a medical professional is very challenging yet rewarding. This is a career field I accidently stumbled into while joining the military in 2010. I started as an EMT working with Trauma cases for 4 years. In 2014 I decided to do a accelerated nursing program and obtained my LPN licence so I could perform more in-depth long term care. I enjoy working with patients, learning about medical needs, coming up with a plan, following through and seeing results. I don't see being a nurse as a job I have to go to but a career I get to enjoy.
Hello my name is Sarah and I am 18 years old, I started care giving when I was 15 at a nursing home that my mother was also working at as a nurse. I am super outgoing and caring towards my residents. I have a very upbeat personality. The thing that made me want to become a care giver is that mother has always been one. She started off as a CNA like me but now she is a Nurse. I have always wanted to follow in my mothers foot steps and as soon as I stepped into taking care of people I absolutely fell in love. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is making my residents happy and ensuring that they are getting the right care! I am proud to say that I received my CNA license during a summer year of high school while I was 16. I knew I wanted to go in this direction for my career so I decided that I would start young.
Aloha, A little bit about me, I have a passion for taking care of not only elderly, but for anyone who needs a little extra help, whether it be infants, toddlers, teenagers, or adults. I am a strong willed independent individual who is not afraid to take on any task given to me. I decided to become a Nurse Aide after my grandma had an accident in the care of another caregiver and needed full hands-on care. I decided that I wanted to be there for elderly and give them the best care they could receive. If you spoke to any of my clients and/or clients family members they would tell you that I always have a positive, cheerful attitude. I'm always willing to go above and beyond with care. I enjoy conversations and just giving people something to laugh about. I am currently working on getting back into school to become a registered nurse, so I decided to stay in the same field of work.
I'm a compassionate and caring person, I take pride in the work that I do and challenges that may occur. I've got about 20 + years of experience, I can provide references if needed, punctual, and professional. Born and raise here in Hawaii, and Aloha to me is not just a word but a way of life, I'm a Christian but I don't judge others and force people nor preach to others, I respect others opinions and don't criticize others for their way of life. I do my best to care and serve my client in a professional manner. Hope you consider my services and give me a call.[?][?]
