Hello! What I love most about being a caregiver/CNA is being able to be a shoulder for those who do not have anyone. I love helping those who need it most or being there for those who aren't able to care for themselves and are seeking long-term care. I've been taking care of those I care about since I was 11 so being a caretaker comes naturally. I have more than 6 years of experience and I understand the importance of following the care plan. My first client was my Mom and although she left me early she was my motivation for wanting to be a Nurse/Caregiver. I really enjoy seeing the smiles on the faces of the lives I've changed or made an impact on. I am a mother so I do understand the importance of paying attention to details and communication. Hello, First I'd like to share a few things about my experiences as a CNA/caregiver. I have always been a nurturing person first as a child and continuing through adulthood, It brings me great pleasure to help everyone I can. I started my career in 1993 by attending a State licensed class and being state certified to work as such. I have continued my education for 28 years now and I am told I bring great skill set to many homes and individuals. I have worked as a CNA in Hospitals, Home Health, Physical Rehabilitation Centers, Nursing Homes and Private Duty Requests. I enjoy them all. I've worked with Hospice,Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes, strokes, obesity, bed bound clients such a paraplegic and quadriplegic, ALS clients, PTSD clients, schizophrenia clients, post surgical and more. I offer help with ADLs, showers, bed baths, exercise, meal preparation, vital sign checks, medication reminders, doctor appointments, and more.

The traits that help me to become a great caregiver is to be compassionate, loving, dependable, and trustworthy. Things that attracted me to be a caregiver is I enjoy talking with elder people and more so because I was the helping hand for my grandmother before her passing. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the one on one conversations I have with my patient speaking on past life and obstacles they went through in life and how they survived. My personal achievement is I was able to nurse one of past patients back to health in the length of 3 wks to a month

I started this professional career in 2009 after my dad had a stroke and of course I wanted to step in and take care of him. I realized after he passed away that this was my calling. I am caring, compassionate, confident and exude enthusiasm as well as personality plus!! I'm an excellent caregiver because I love what I do and I strive to always be the best in whatever I'm doing. My greatest personal achievement's have been raising 2 beautiful daughters as a single mom. The other would be going back to school and achieving my CNA & Phlebotomist license. I love being a voice for the elderly when they don't have one and love taking care of them as if they we're my own parents or grandparents. Ive been a caregiver for about 15yrs. I love what i do. I have worked for mentally ill adults, senior citizens as well as Alzheimer dementia clients. I have experience with spinal injuries and ms clients. I have worked with colostomy bags urinals, hoya lifts medicine etc. Im also always willing to learn. Im kind soft hearted loving caring. Great listener hard worker. I am very reliable and always on time. I have references and a resume if needed.

1. I'm a vary patience and compassionate with what each client is going through. I myself have been in situations to place me in a position to have 24hr care. Having respect as well as empathy helps makes everyone feel comfortable and secure with a new face in the comfort of their home. 2. It's vary rewarding helping someone who is unable to fully care for him/herself, Just making people's lives easier. As a young child I myself was sick so I watched just how much time and love my mother and father showed made me realize I too shared the gift of helping those in need. 3. I love most is seeing the smile I put on each and every persons face that crosses my path. I love what I was chosen to do. 4. Recovering from a 15 ft fall that I was told I would never be able to walk the same, do the job I did before nor the activities I onced loved, I loved myself back to health. Learning how to walk, use the restroom, run and go back to work has been one of the most personal achievement I have ever accomplished.

I have been in the healthcare field over nine years. I am currently going to school now for my CNA... I lobes being a Caregiver. It's where my heart and passion at. I promise my mother before she past away. That this is what I wants to do with my life. And I won't stop until I become a RN. I treats my patients as my own. And never a blunt moment with them.
