I have been a caregiver since I was a child. My dad had polio and my mom had other physical problems so, I became their caregiver. As an adult, I have enjoyed Hospice work, working with dementia patients and working with children. I feel like helping others is what my purpose in life is. Hello! My name is Dakota. I have several years experience as a caregiver, both live in and out. I originally started caregiving when my father became ill. I am still his Caregiver on very rare occasions now as my family has hired someone closer to him. Caregiving is not just a job for me. I enjoy helping and my favorite part of Caregiving is the companionship part. I like for my people to feel comfortable with me as their caregiver.
