I'm a very compassionate person, and I've enriched the lives of many, while in the comfort of their own surroundings. I've worked in the medical field as a respiratory technician for 15 years, and I've been a certified caregiver for 20 years and found that in home health care is where my passion lies. The majority of my clients are elderly, and to remove them from their surroundings can often cause them too much trauma. Being in their homes with them, and assisting them in day-to-day activities, is always more comfortable and provides a much happier environment. What would make me be a great caregiver is that i have a sense of empathy, caring either for a small child to and elderly person. I understand and connect most of the time with Patients that they can create a sense of calmness and trust with in me. I also have lots of Patients for those in need of my help i listen to what ever they have to tell me so they can feel some affection towards a caregiver. What attracts me to being a caregiver is that i myself have grandparents living with me i know as getting to a certain age you need help and cant do many things for yourself, There for this is when i realized this would be a perfect job for, since i love to help others in need or may need any type of resources from me. I have had many different jobs in my life , and caregiving is my passion. In actuality i am a CNA but in my line of work i did cared and looked after individuals. And I became a CNA because i always loved helping people and i have dreams to become a Register Nurse and i know CNA will help me get there. I like working as CNA because it allows me to lend a hand to who is less fortunate. i also love taking care of people because at end of the day i get to see there family smile. I would say a personal achievement of mind would say passing my State Boards for CNA because the journey wasn't always easy. Something about me: well i am college student who is currently unemployed and who had just had a child lesser then a month ago so i'am really need a job .
