I have been a caregiver since 1992. I really enjoy working with all types of patient care. In 1992 I received my Medical Assistant degree. CNA in 2015. I also have my Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance card ,CPR, Excellent Client and Professional references upon request.

My professional caregiving experience dates back from 2011 after I finished my studies in fundamental of caregiving, dementia, mental health, HIV and Aids, nurse delegation, food handling and medication dispensing amongst other vital provider courses. I started and got my hands on experience working in an adult family home taking care of six live in residents for a year. I provided personal care, companionship, and transportation services. I then moved on to an agency that assigned me two clients whom I took care of until they passed on. I was promoted to the lead caregiver where my duties involved not just taking care of vulnerable adults of all ages, but also training other caregivers and stepping in to take care of transitional clients as we found them stable, long-term care providers. It was a post I loved but had to give it up when I moved. I am well trained and state registered in Washington with an active viewable licence online and currently working on getting certified here as well. In my opinion I am a great caregiver because I have so much passion for my job. I take care of every elderly person as if they are my parents when they get older. I want to make sure they are happy, that's all that matters to me. The thing that attracted me to being a caregiver was taking care of my grandmother before she passed away. I cared for her for about 4 years and it inspired me to go and help those who can't do things themself anymore. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing these people are clean, fed, groomed and have a smile on their face. When you can't do something on your own; that extra hand is most delightful. A personal achievement I am most proud of is getting to where I am today, because being a caregiver was a goal I had for so long and I finally achieved it and I came out on top.

I became a Registered Nurse in 2018 after 14 years of being a nursing assistant. I love helping people and the satisfaction of a smile and gratitude. It is also a secure job and on demand and I like the availabilty nation wide. An achievement I've had is the diverse co-workers and clients/patients I've had the pleasure to work with. Im always learning something new. Ive been working in healthcare since fall of 2004. At a very young age a love for helping others came very naturally to me. Be it animals (of every kind), my family and friends...caring and helping has always been my first love. I enjoy cooking, cleaning, organizing. Love music, dance, swimming, gardening... being outdoors, reading and working with children and animals. I have a passion for service to humanity especially the disadvantaged members of any given society and caregiving falls squarely in that field. As a caregiver, I get the satisfaction of making a difference in someone else`s life, bu helping them to do what they cant do by themnselves. I am proud to be doing a job which to many people is hard and at times thankless yet everyone knows that it is one of the most essential services in the US, given the large number of vulnerable elders that need care beyond what immediate family members can provide.
