I'm a very compassionate person, and I've enriched the lives of many, while in the comfort of their own surroundings. I've worked in the medical field as a respiratory technician for 15 years, and I've been a certified caregiver for 20 years and found that in home health care is where my passion lies. The majority of my clients are elderly, and to remove them from their surroundings can often cause them too much trauma. Being in their homes with them, and assisting them in day-to-day activities, is always more comfortable and provides a much happier environment. I know at the end of each day I have shown them compassion and made their lives more comfortable and peaceful. I am certified in CPR and FIRST AID, and I am a CERTIFIED CAREGIVER. I also have an extensive medical background as a RESPIRATORY TECHNICIAN ,and other aspects in the medical profession.

Hi, my name is Maria. Im 55 years old and I live in Sun City West , AZ . I've been a Nursing assistant for 13 years, 5 of which I spent in a Skilled nursing facility , and 8 as a live in caregiver. I'm familiar with many different medical conditions that a person might be experiencing. I believe in anticipating a patients needs and making life easier for them . I want my patients to feel safe and confident in my care. I like to pamper the people I care for. I truly believe that this job was my calling.. I have had many different jobs in my life , and caregiving is my passion. Caring for another human being and doing your best to make them feel comfortable, secure and content is very gratifying, and I take great pride in my work. My name is Natalie Bruce. I'm 46 years old, happily married with no children( except two adorable mini poodles). I'm originally from New England and moved to Arizona 18 years ago. I would describe myself as being dependable, resourceful, kind and as having a very strong work ethic. I am empathetic, honest, loyal and believe in the Golden Rule. I'm creative and artistic with three or four projects always in the works! Also, I have a fitness/post rehab therapy background and have been a nutritional counselor since 2002. As well as being a C.N.A./Med Tech, I've owned and operated a meal delivery service for people who have special dietary requirements or they want healthy, tasty meals in their fridge, ready to eat in minutes! Being a caregiver has enabled me to assist many people and families at a time that can be extremely difficult. I enjoy having the opportunity to give my time and expertise, and helping to preserve a person's dignity when they may feel lost. Kindness and patience goes a long way here.

I love taking care of other people especially in need, and love to make a difference in someone's life by helping them and making them feel good and knowing they can count on me when in need. I love to listen and learn, seeing someone happy and smiling makes me feel really good especially if am the cause of that. Caring for someone in need it's a joy to me and knowing I can make a difference in someone's life.

I've worked for Hospice for the last 15 years and I'm a mother of 5 kids and 23 grandbabies and taking care of people is what I do. I feel a sense of accomplishment by offering the good care that I give. I have pt's tell me that I'm the best part of their day. Making sure that a person is comfortable is what I do. My hopes and dreams is to own a group home one day.

What makes me a great caregiver? I love people and just knowing am able to give back to my elders is amazing. I am a caregiver to everyone my own children, others children, elders and people on the street by feeding them and just assisting them where its needed , giving words of encouragement. Around the community people call me mama/ mama nay-nay or grandma. I feel God put me on this earth to care for others besides myself. I have always put others needs before my own. I will go without just so someone else is able to be okay. Am humble, funny, lovable and caring. Am very proud of all my accomplishments but most of all Receiving my Masters in Human Services was one I was most proud of. Loving others is what I do best.
