I like helping elderly. Its a fun job, challenging but rewarding. I have working in this field for many years and I am proud that so many lives had been changed, and lifted up through me. A life of 90 years old man who could not take care himself and the family were so busy, and he was able to survive for seven years. I have been caregiver and CNA for more than ten years. I have worked in nursing homes, hospital and private duty in California, then I moved to Colorado for better future, Unfortunately my family won't move there because of cold weather. So at this time I'm back to California to be together with my family and looking for a job here.

What drove me to be a caregiver is when i realized the need to serve and help others. This passion came when I lived with my grandmother who i loved dearly and as she aged i realized she needed care day by day. I automatically became a caregiver to her, a job I have come to love and perfect professionally. I became a caregiver simply because I love to help people. I take a lot of pride in my work and it brings me a lot of joy. I enjoy getting to know the patients and try my best to make their day even with the simplest acts. I am also a couple years from graduating nursing school and CNA had provided me with very useful experience.

I am a health care aid with 12 year experience as a caregiver. I have worked with dementia patients as well as patients with other mental and physical disabilities. Very caring and compassionate with others. I am understanding of patient's needs and willing to do whatever it takes to make them as comfortable as possible. I think my dependability helps me be a great caregiver. I was attracted to caregiving as a young child when my little sister came home from the NICU with a caregiver to assist my mother with her care. Patient interaction is something that I enjoy the most. My proudest achievement thus far aside from my children would be becoming a Nurse.
