I come from a family that has multiple health issues & I've always wanted to take care of them so they wouldn't have to be placed in a nursing home/ residential care facility where they wouldn't receive the care that they deserve. I am a christian who believes in human kindness no matter the person, because every one created by God needs love, kindness, and care. I believe that man is not an Island, at some point in life we need others help, care, and love either from relatives or strangers. My family value of honesty and truthfulness cannot be compromised. Until one becomes sick or have love one that is sick or elderly, the person will not appreciate the work of care givers and health workers. Before I became a CNA, I took care of my father at his old age (90 years), the challenges of taking care of him were motivating factors to be a care giver and health worker.
