I have worked in the healthcare field the past 4 years; I absolutely love it. I have worked in a group home, ISL(individual supported living), nursing homes and psychiatric hospital, ages ranging from 3-100. I worked as a CNA at the nursing home, helping with bathing, grooming, transfers, toileting, changing and person hygiene. In the ISL, I worked with disabled clients, helping with their everyday need. I would provide transportation, assist with house cleaning, administrating meds, personal hygiene and community skills. I Thoroughly enjoy working in the healthcare field and plan to attend college to get my RN degree. After graduation I would like to become a behavioral health nurse. I love being able to help people with things that they are no longer able to do.

What makes myself a great caregiver is I am compassionate, caring,patient,empathetic,and loving, I enjoy what I do for others. What encouraged my choice to do caregiving, My Father, he had a massive CVA in 2009 and since then my experience has driven me more towards helping not only family but those who need it. My biggest accomplishment in being a caretaker is the priceless moments of appreciation with my clients and there families.

I became a Care Giver because I love helping others In their daily living activities. Love to see the gratitude expression on their faces, and for the residents to know and feel that I'm here for them to know that they are not alone. I know that making the decision of becoming a care giver has been the best choice of my life, because I love what I do, love to know that out there, somewhere the're are a lot of seniors who need assistance, and care in so many different ways, but the're may not be that many care givers who are willing to help them, so for me it's an honor and a privilege to to be considered to assist any resident or loved one with their ADLs. I am very responsible out going team player flexible with hours willing travel. I'm very careful at what I do, learn quickly. I'm very compassionate trustful, loyal. You won't regret hiring me to care for your loved one.

1.I began working as a Caregiver back in 2008. It started with my grandmother that was on Hospice then went on to working for the IHSS. After this I went to work for a 6 bed Residiental Facility . 2.I like that I can help someone that truly needs the help and that I can be useful for. Knowing that I can make a difference just my simply being there. 3. A personal achievement that I am proud was being able to uplift a previous patient I had to better health.That experience has ever since motivated me to keep going. 4. Am a CNA went to school and finished in December of 2014. I have my First Aid and CPR. Am a very reliable and patient person.
