About me, I always wanted to be a registered nurse since I was a little girl. I didn't get that far the goal was to take care of people. I love what I do. It's not about the money it's about caring and taking care of people and giving them the attention and love they need. Integrity, hard-working, on time, pay attention to all details, and give my clients the compassion and love they deserve! That's me!

I have loved being in home healthcare for a long time. I have found my niche, per say. I am a positive but gentle personality. I can talk when needed & be quiet when needed also. I treat people in their homes exactly how they want to be treated & do what they like having done. Kinda like "Burger King," saying, "having it your way." It is your home & I try to make it be how you want it to continue to be. I am very patient & want those I care for to feel good when I am there. I do not plan on changing their care plan & what is already working unless the client or family tells me otherwise. I enjoy so many aspects of the job. I enjoy doing for the client. I enjoy cooking their meals when needed & I take my time with the client. I will do for them anything they would need me to do & make their days enjoyable. My #1 priority is client safety & feeling comfortable with me as their caregiver. I have lots of experience, I have my CNA lic here in CA also was a Medical Assistant & I am an LVN but not licensed in the state of CA. I came back to my home state in 2011 & did not take the test as I was going to do something else when I arrived back. With my caregiving experience I do not think I will get licensed out here. I have let too much time laspe, unfortunately.

I have over ten years of experience in caregiving, I'm also a registered RBT I hold my CPR and first aide license. I'm also fully vaccinated and I have a lot of skills in the medical field.

The reward of being a caregiver is priceless and my passion of caring for others comes from experience. One of my fondest memories is being in the kitchen with my Aunt, we love to cook together. It was everything I looked forward to after a long day at school or work. Then her symptoms of arthritis worsened and she was no longer able to do what she loved on her own. Helping my Aunt and others like her that are going through their process is the reason I am a caregiver today. It allows me to care for others in the same way I would want my family members to be treated.

I'm an open-minded, friendly, compassionate woman with personal & professional integrity. Empathy and reliability, patience and the ability to laugh at myself & situations (instead of stewing about them) makes me a great caregiver. The safety of a client is of utmost importance. I've always liked to help the elderly to enrich their lives .

Why a caregiver it has always been in the family the nourishment and ability to help each other. I enjoy how my clients share their life history it means we have bonded in a personal way he or she is willing to give information that is usually meant for their family. Personal achievement to be proud of there are many I am proud of overcome any difficulties life put on our path. Life is a rollercoaster we all have difficulties that is the ride going up, we have our scary moments those are the turns/twists on a ride and the fun is the flat area toward the end when everything seems to be going our way.

I am a 43 year old with 18 years of experience working in this field of Nursing . I live in the city of San Francisco but I also spent a lot of time in my other apartment in the East Bay ( El cerrito City ) due to work and having a family members as well . I am a Licensed vocational Nurse (LVN) and a certified nursing assistant ( CNA) as well . I work with people with different types of disabilities and injures . And I have worked in several hospitals in San Francisco and in the East Bay as well. I am bilingual , I speak English and Spanish and i own my car . I enjoy working this field and helping people very much, I am an honest and responsible person, and well provide you with a very great quality of care . I am very bless and happy to be in this field of Nursing providing care and helping people making a difference in their lives and being more meaningful and pleasurable. I became a caregiver because I have a passion with providing care to those individuals who need assistant with staying in the comfort of their home safely. After, discovering I really enjoyed the kind of work that I do I went back to school and pursued my CNA/HHA and Acute Care license. I have five years of experience as a PCA, My first encounter was taking care of a stroke client.
