Hello! My name is Cassie, and I live in Modesto, CA. and have more than 30 years experience. I trained as a SNA(Student Nurse Assistant) back in July of 1990 and became a CNA(Certified Nurse Assistant) in September of 1990. I have worked for many years in Nurse Registries, convalescent hospitals, hospitals, and private homes before returning to school and pursuing other interests until my children grew up. As my children got older I eventually pursued my dream by becoming a one on one State Certified Private Home Care Aide. I have continued working as a CHCA since October 2011 and have enjoyed learning and growing with my clients as well as their families all while Iearninq to care for their needs in a way they have come to appreciate. I LOVE my work and I will continue to do my work until I can no longer be of service to my clients. I have received many compliments from my clients as well as Supervisors from previous company of 12 years and throughout the years of being certified and I will always put the needs of my client first.

I Am a very honest fun loving Caring Lady, I enjoy putting that smile on everyone's face, I have always been very interested in learning all about my patients life and experiences I find it to be very fascinating, I went into the nursing field because I love caring for the elderly. I enjoy most about being a caregiver when I see the smile on my patients face as I walk into the door, I love talking about their life and their family history, the patient is the most important. My personal achievement was when I was caring for a gentleman in San Jose he had just had a major back surgery they glued his nerves together so he was pretty much paralyzed when i started caring for him, the doctors told him that he would not walk again, well I was with him for almost a year in a half I did physcial therapy with him every single day we went on walks etc.. I am very proud to say this gentleman is walking, dancing and driving he is now 82 years of age..

I started out as a CNA when I was 16 years old in a convalescent home, I was in the Army from 1975 to 1978. I used the GI Bill to become an LVN. I've worked in LTC, rehabilitation and acute care settings. you name it I've probably done it. My father was a minister and my Mom always wanted to be a nurse, however she kept busy being a ministers wife, I took care of both of them in their last days. I now prefer to take care of people in their homes, which I believe is the ideal setting and much less stressful.

The reason I became a caregiver was because my grandmother died alone in a nursing home. I have also worked in facilities. I left due to the fact I didn't like the way the clients were treated I couldn't give them enough attention. The reason why I love working in homes with one or two clients at a time is because you get to know them you get to bond with them and they become like family. 80% of my clients I have stayed with till the end and that is because most of my clients are terminal.

I am the most compassionate, patient, empathetic, kind, caring, hard working individual you will ever meet! I have enjoyed working in the medical field for 15+ years until i began caring for my loved one for 15 years who had dementia and later Alzheimers and wished to remain in her own home so i honored this wish and i found a new calling. Having a medical background and knowledge of diseases and symptoms and medications has been of benefit working as a caregiver and helps me to assess an individuals care needs as i always give 200% and strive to provide the best care possible.

Hello, I'm Laura 32 years old and I have been a nursing assistant for about 10 years. Unfortunately, I have allowed my certification to lapse but will hopefully be able to reinstate it some time in the near future. I have worked in long-term care and hospital settings. I also started working with in home support service clients at 16 with my mother and started working as a nanny at 18 and have worked with clients from 9 days old to 99 years old. I am very comfortable working in different settings and with a variety of personalities. I have impeccable references and usually only work for clients that have been referred to me by former clients however I am trying to expand my horizons and try something new. I have worked with patients in a facility as well as at home who have g-tubes, foley and straight catheters, and colostomy bags. In the near future I hope to complete school, which I have put on hold for now due to financial difficulties, and continue to grow through helping others during a most difficult time in their lives.

I have worked as a Caregiver for about 20 years. I graduated from the CNA program at, Merced College. I enjoy helping and taking care of others I, find it very rewarding and, very much a part of who I am. I love singing and seeing others smile. I am a very compassionate and, caring certified nursing assistant , certified home health aide.

I like to play, I'm friendly, loving and very compassionate. My mother passed away some years ago which made me come back to my first love in helping people who really need help, I love my mother she was my best friend and a mother. I enjoy the companionship because most of the elderly friends are passed on or to sick to talk and I would love to be someone they can trust. My personal achievement is all the other clients I have worked with will tell you how kind and giving of a person I am, I stand out of the crowd of caregivers.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I'm patient, responsible, good at time management, respectful, calm under pressure, I have experience in caregiving, and lastly very caring. I was attracted to caregiving when I was little because growing up I always took care of my grandpa who was terminally ill, I liked being able to help him do daily things it made me happy seeing I can brighten up his day just by helping him do little tasks. What I enjoy most is the ability of being able to help people in need. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating high school early.
