I have loved being in home healthcare for a long time. I have found my niche, per say. I am a positive but gentle personality. I can talk when needed & be quiet when needed also. I treat people in their homes exactly how they want to be treated & do what they like having done. Kinda like "Burger King," saying, "having it your way." It is your home & I try to make it be how you want it to continue to be. I am very patient & want those I care for to feel good when I am there. I do not plan on changing their care plan & what is already working unless the client or family tells me otherwise. I enjoy so many aspects of the job. I enjoy doing for the client. I enjoy cooking their meals when needed & I take my time with the client. I will do for them anything they would need me to do & make their days enjoyable. My #1 priority is client safety & feeling comfortable with me as their caregiver. I have lots of experience, I have my CNA lic here in CA also was a Medical Assistant & I am an LVN but not licensed in the state of CA. I came back to my home state in 2011 & did not take the test as I was going to do something else when I arrived back. With my caregiving experience I do not think I will get licensed out here. I have let too much time laspe, unfortunately.

Hourly rate starts at: $35 hour - $40 = hourly shift Liv in rate (24/7) starts from $22.50-$25 per hour, based on client's mobility and care. I am passionate of making your loved one/s comfortable as possible as they can be, respecting and ensuring their rights are upheld in the comfort of their own home. I have been a care giver for over 30 years now. It started when I was 17 years old working in a neighborhood coffee shop that seniors dined at regularly. I would overhear them speaking of tasks they could not take care of around their house by themselves. That's when I started offering to come over after work to help them. Then sometimes a husband would come in without a wife or a wife without a husband and I would ask where the other one was, they would reply they were sick at home. I would then asked if I could do anything or check in on them and they really appreciated it. Eventually I gave up my job at the coffee shop and became a full time caregiver. I love working with people while it makes a difference in their life.

My strength lies in my abilities to understand what is needed in helping my client achieve better health care outcomes. Having a background in healthcare of over 30 years experience taking care of clients from newborns to centurions. I'm trained postoperative rehabilitations and hospice care. My experience as both a registered nurse and chiropractor affords me insight into skills that are needed when taking care of clients with broad healthcare needs.

I have been in the Healthcare field for over ten years and have experienced pretty much every kind of situation plausible in the home health care setting. I got into the Nursing field because I wanted to be in a career that helped people, I wanted to bring joy to people in unhappy situations.Working in Nursing Homes a lot of the workers are there for the wrong reasons, I understand that I am one unfortunate incident from being in their shoes and will want someone kind caring for me.
