I became a caregiver because I care about the well-being of the elderly. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel good inside. I am dependable, responsible, and honored to take care of the patients I meet and have a positive impact on their lives. I have up-to-date CNA and BLS certifications. I also have 6 years' experience working with the elderly, assisting them with eating, bathing, dressing, toileting etc. I get a sense of satisfaction from helping patients feel comfortable and loved.

What makes me a great caregiver is my innate emphasis on the virtue and value of empathy. I may be physically strong, however my emotional strength is probably even more immense. I am a resilient, courageous, sensitive, compassionate and kind, which attracts me to the work of being a caregiver. I've been in home care for 14+ years. I worked for Hospice for 6 years, Parkinsons, TBI, stroke, and developmental disabilities patients and etc. I love what I do because I treat all my clients like if they were my family and also the way I would like to be treated. What attract me to Homecare was when I was in high school I used to work in the nursing home. And I am proud of making my patient happy seeing a smile on a face.
