I'm a 20 year old dental assistant , who is in school for criminal justice. I plan on being a attorney. I'm very focused and dedicated to my future. I love music and going outside because I feel like nature is the best way to cheer me up! I love helping people and making them feel their youth again. I've been a caregiver even before I was certified. I helped take off my grandmother before she passed away. Being a caregiver is definitely in my blood in which I pride myself on such. All of patients are my family and I treat them as if they were. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is the fact I'm 36yo, a single mother of a 16yo, and a college graduate whose going for Master's of Science degree.

my personality traits include respectful, empathetic, strong willed, loving and caring. what attracted me to be a caregiver is knowing that i can help somebody and their families through a difficult time. i lost my grandmother to Alzheimer's in 2009. As much as i wanted to stay home and take care of her i had to go to school and my mother had to work.... when we found a caregiver for her it was like a huge weight was lifted of our shoulders. we knew we could go to school/work and not have to worry about her not eating or taking her medications, or going on a walk and getting lost. i want to be able to give people the same peace of mind i was given and the same care my grandmother was given. the personal achievement im most proud of is coming out of a dark time and still seeing the good/light in everybody instead of the bad/dark in people. the the thing i enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping people.
