I enjoy working with people, i also enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I also like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I also take pride in attention to detail.

I am a qualified caregiver who loves to help give others the assistance they need. Ive been a caregiver for over 10 years and this profession has led me to my career. The trainings that Iv'e completed has shaped me into one of the most amazing caregivers.

I became a caregiver because i wanted to help others to help themselves and because I enjoy knowing that I can make a difference in someones life. I like knowing that I can make someones life that much easier just by being patient, understanding, kind, loving, and willing to listen as well as paying attention to things to help them in their everyday life. I also like to see the change for the better in people when most would give up I like to find another way to help even when they don't realize it. I am very proud of myself for being successfully in raising my children to be the great children that they are and of myself for being able to do this as a single parent. I am also proud of how far I have come in life and doing very well. I can also say that i am proud of being able to have a positive effect on people. Being able to work with people that others say cannot be worked with. I have 3 beautiful children ages 23, 17, and 14 2 boys and a girl she is the youngest I love working with others and don't mind working hard I would not change what i do for anything I love the challenge of being able to change things around for people when most people might think that it is a waste of time I believe that any and everything is possible if you work hard enough for it.

I am a reliable and dedicated caregiver. I have over five years of experience in a variety of health care settings. My experience has included the privilege of working in dementia care, palliative care, Parkinson's disease care, Hospice pice care, Alzheimer's disease care, and with persons with developmental disabilities. Over my years of experience, I have provided compassionate and skilled respite, companion, and live-in-care. I am passionate about taking care of people with disabilities and older adults. As a staff nurse, I cared for mostly senior clients at a VA Medical Center for two years in Acute Care, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Nursing Home, and Palliative Care settings. I also have experience in long-term Acute Care and Hospice Care. I recently completed a two-year nursing and care-giving assignment for an elderly gentleman who had chronic and progressive neurological disease, diabetes, renal failure, cardiac issues, hemodialysis, and home peritoneal dialysis. I was with him nights, Monday through Friday, from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. My care-giving responsibilities included personal care, toileting, bathing, dressing, transfers, assisting with ambulation, driving to medical appointments and social activities, medication management and administration, meal preparation, eating and drinking assistance. I worked with a team of female caregivers in the household, providing comprehensive and personalized 24-hour care. The other caregivers are also currently available for work as a team providing superior care around the clock, or as otherwise needed. I naturally enjoy fostering caring and the therapeutic relationships. This is something I do naturally, something I have done all my life, something essential to who I am.
